Washington Revels will kick off the celebration with a festive musical procession throughout the park (11:00 a.m.). Following the parade, all are invited to take part in some joyous dancing around the Maypole.

Welcome spring with Washington Revels as we close the annual All Hallows Guild Flower Mart held at the Washington National Cathedral on May 2 at 4pm. We will process to the front steps of the cathedral (or inside the Cathedral, if there is rain)—dressed in traditional May “whites” with colorful sashes and flower wreathes—to celebrate the greening of the year with song, dance, and merry mumming.
