September 5 – Labor Day Parade

All are invited to come and march with us as we celebrate Labor Day. As always, our joyous and robust band of paraders — adults, teens, and children — will dress in colorful clothing and Washington Revels will supply festive ribbon sticks, parade props, and banners! Kids are welcome (including kids in strollers), but children under 13 must be accompanied in the parade by a responsible adult. The parade starts at St. Paul Park and ends at the grandstand next to Noyes Children’s Library. As the parade moves through town, Armory Avenue comes alive with food trucks, vendors and activities.

The Washington Revels Gallery Voices joins the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts & Culture for a celebration of visual and performing arts! This FREE event will include a multitude of hands-on activities and unique opportunities to delve into the arts. From screen printing, to photography, to pottery, and beyond, everybody is sure to find something fun to explore!

September 17 – Children’s Auditions for The Christmas Revels

Washington Revels announces children’s auditions for the 2022 Christmas Revels The children’s chorus plays an important role in every Christmas Revels—they are both featured as an ensemble and woven throughout the production with their stage families. Revels children are integral to the creation of our diverse onstage community. Auditions are open to children entering grades 3-5.
