Celebrate the life and legacy of activist, orator, and statesman Frederick Douglass!

Jubilee Voices at the Capitol Turnaround for the Frederick Douglass Birthday Celebration 2023

This 1.5-hour program will feature music by the Jubilee Voices of the Washington Revels, performances by the student winners of the annual Frederick Douglass Oratorical Contest, keynote speaker, Jeffrey Rosen, author of “The Pursuit of Happiness,” and President & CEO of The Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Additionally, we’ll be playing Black History month Jeopardy with audience participation!

Reservations are not required.
