June 21 — Solstice Sing at Park with Accordions

DSCN1786

June Theme: Celebration of the Summer Solstice & National Accordion Awareness Month

Kick off the summer with us! Our monthly Community Sing will be a celebration of the solstice and includes a potluck dinner — please join us and bring a dish to share. We will sing summery songs, and we will sing along with plenty of accordion tunes to celebrate National Accordion Awareness Month. A perfect way to celebrate the longest day of the year!

Sign up in advance to lead a song by contacting Jo Rasi (jrasi@revelsdc.org or 301-587-3835). Or just show up to sing (or even just to listen)!

  • 6:30-7:15pm – Potluck picnic supper, dessert, and celebration of June birthdays
  • 7:15 -8:30 pm – Parade and Songs for Summer Solstice, Caribbean Heritage Month, and National Accordion Awareness Month
