June 21 — Father’s Day Sing: Slaveya & Potluck Picnic

June Theme: Celebration of the Summer Solstice & Songs for Fathers and Families!

We are excited to have nearly all of the members of Slaveya, an all women vocal folk ensemble featuring songs from Eastern Europe, joining us as song leaders at this month’s Sing! In honor of Father’s Day, we will also sing songs in the theme of fathers and families. This solstice celebration also includes a potluck dinner — please join us and bring a dish to share. A perfect Father’s Day event!

Sign up in advance to lead a song by contacting Jo Rasi (jrasi@revelsdc.org or 301-587-3835). Or just show up to sing (or even just to listen)!

  • 6:00-7pm – Potluck dinner
  • 7 pm -8 pm Community Sing — all ages welcome!
  • 8-8:30pm – Social Time, Celebration of June Birthdays & more song

Future sings are held on the 21st of each month at Washington Revels. Co-sponsored by Carpe Diem (www.CarpeDiemArts.org).
