September 27 – Gallery Voices and Latine Mummers at Glen Echo Park

Echo Arts Festival -September 28

Come to Glen Echo Park for a celebration of visual and performing arts! From hands-on art activities, to musical performances, to dance performances and workshops, and open studios and galleries, there’s something fun for everyone to explore! Check out all the activities on the Echo Arts Festival website. Plus, September 278 marks the final day of the 2025 carousel season–don’t miss your final chance to ride the 1921 Dentzel Carousel!

As part of the fun, Washington Revels Gallery Voices will perform a program of Americana at 2:15pm in the Bumper Car Pavilion. Come and join in the singing!

And, that’s not all — see a Latine Mummers Play at 2 and 3pm. On the Isla of Puerto Rico, there is one most beloved creature, a tiny frog. Small, but mighty, its call is as loud as a lion’s roar. But have you ever wondered how it got its iconic sound? Come join Washington Revels for our newest Latine Mummers Play as we tell one of the many legends of the heartbeat of Puerto Rico, the coquí!

The Echo Arts Festival is a free event that runs from 12-5 pm, with unique opportunities to delve into the arts. Bring the family and enjoy a beautiful day at the park!
