July 14 – Jubilee Voices at Voices of History Street Fair

Celebrate African American History and Culture!

Join Jubilee Voices, storytellers, musicians, and other performing artists for the 4th annual Voices of History Street Fair! In celebration of 35 years, join the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum, Inc. and the Growing Griots Literacy Program as they showcase African American history and culture through the oral traditions of drumming, dancing, singing, storytelling, spoken word, and first person oral history presentations. This event is co-sponsored by the Griot Circle of Maryland.

Jubilee Voices will present two performances, one during the opening ceremony on the Museum steps at 10:00 am and, immediately afterwards, a 30-minute concert inside the Museum vestibule.
