September 10 – Maritime Voices at Takoma Folk Fest

Maritime Voices performs at the Takoma Park Folk Festival’s 40th Anniversary!

Once again, Maritime Voices can be found at the Takoma Park Folk Festival! There will be a full day of musical performances by various folk groups, concluding with our own Maritime Voices, who will sing songs of the men who worked the great sailing ships, the women who sustained their shoreside communities, and the men and women who worked the canal, lakes and rivers of America.  The day’s activity will start at 10:30 am, and Maritime Voices will perform at 5 pm on the Abbott Stage.
