Watch Baseball & Sing! $5 (discounted!) tickets
(FREE for Revels Volunteers & Donors!)

Join us for our 8th summer of baseball and song as we entertain the fans at a Big Train game. We’ll sing before and during the game, plus you can help us sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at the 7th-inning stretch.

At each home game, Big Train honors two nonprofits that have made extraordinary contributions to Montgomery County. At this game, Big Train once again honors Washington Revels!

Thanks to the Trawick Foundation, Big Train’s honoring of Revels includes 100 tickets to the game. This year we are offering them to volunteers and donors for free. The remaining tickets we are selling for $5 each (tickets normally $9 for adults). This is a chance to see a game while supporting Revels!

If you and any family/friends would like to attend, send an email to calexander@revelsdc.org with your name and the number of tickets you would like (first come, first served!). You can pay for them at the ballpark. Come on out, sing along, and enjoy the fun!

More about Big Train: The Bethesda Big Train, named for Washington Senators pitching great Walter Johnson, is a summer, collegiate, wooden-bat team playing in the Cal Ripken, Sr. Collegiate Baseball League. Over its 13-year existence Big Train has produced over 100 professional baseball players. In 2011 Big Train was the #1-ranked summer team in the nation.

Big Train’s home games are played at Shirley Povich Field in Cabin John Park (near Montgomery Mall in Bethesda). Povich Field is a wonderful ball park that makes fans feel they are back in small-town America. The Washington Post called it the “ultimate small town fantasy.” The park seats 850 and for most games the stands are full. The concession stands offer the best ballpark value in the D.C. area. Come see, hear, and taste for yourself!
