At the start of the event, we will provide a festive musical procession throughout the park (11:00 a.m.) followed by a performance by Washington Revels Gallery Voices (11:15 a.m. until Noon). Following some merry madrigals, you are invited to take part in some joyous dancing around the Maypole.
All are welcome to this free, family-friendly event—performances by many other local artists will take place throughout the day, as well as kids’ arts & crafts, open artist studios & galleries, and much more. And, of course, you are invited to ride the historic carousel.
Later in the day, at 4:00 p.m., we will present a full May Revels performance at the National Cathedral Flower Mart.
