Daily Antidote of Song: Making each day better, one song at a time! 

Join on Zoom or Facebook to sing along with songs about freedom, civil rights and social justice–and the stories behind them–from local, national and internationally-known artists. This virtual community, uniting attendees from across the country and around the globe, was established in 2020 with the onset of the COVID pandemic.

Featured during Juneteenth Week: Washington Revels Jubilee Voices (June 18); SoulFolk singer/songwriter Lea Morris (June 19); modern-day all-ages folk music duo Dan + Claudia Zanes (June 20); singer La’Shelle Allen (“Sistah LaLa'” June 21); DC Labor Chorus founder Elise Bryant (June 22); Washington Revels Executive Director Tamara Williams (June 23); Ethiopian-American singer, songwriter, teaching artist Munit Mesfin (June 24); and, old-time American music specialist Hubby Jenkins (June 25).
