Heritage revives the music that filled everyday 19th-century life!
Journey back to a time when making music was part of everyday life! Washington Revels Heritage Voices will present a program of 19th-century American music during Asbury Methodist Village’s “Music for the Mission” benefit series! These concerts raise money for AMV’s Benevolent Care Fund, which provides support to residents who have outlived their resources, helping to ensure they can continue living in their homes.
Join Heritage Voices, accompanied by the old-time stylings of Roustabout String Band, for an evening of popular melodies, patriotic songs, parlor music, work songs, spirituals, shape note tunes, and some sing-alongs!
