July 11 – Jubilee Voices at Voices of History Street Fair

Join Jubilee Voices, storytellers, musicians, and other performing artists for the Voices of History Street Fair! In celebration of 32 years, join the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum, Inc. and the Growing Griots Literacy Program as they showcase African American history and culture through the oral traditions of drumming, dancing, singing, storytelling, spoken word, and first person oral history presentations.

Jubilee Voices will perform at the Fair’s Opening Ceremony at 10, a.m., followed by a 45-minute set of music and spoken word. This event is co-sponsored by the National Association of Black Story Tellers and the Griot Circle of Maryland.
